About Me
Let the beauty we love be what we do
- Rumi
I have been practising therapies since 2000 and am strongly committed to making them as accessible as possible, co-founding Sheffield’s first Multibed clinic in 2008. My focus is always on providing a safe and comfortable space to listen and respond to what’s most concerning for you, not only being defined by your Western ‘diagnosis’.
I have 20 years experience working with individuals recovering from the effects of abuse, primarily in Women’s Refuge. I have also worked in a drug and alcohol project, sports clinic and more recently in Cancer Care. This has included work at Weston Park Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and at Palliative Care, Northern General Hospital. Introduced in March 2020, I adapted the face to face bodywork usually offered at Cavendish Cancer Care to provide online body based therapies.
I have attended IFS conferences in Vancouver and undertaken extensive CPD focusing on Fertility and Pregnancy and am one of the founding members of Nurture Sheffield.
Fascinated by transition.
My more recent training in TRE® is really a meeting place for all that I have done up until now. Trauma and recovery has been a theme throughout.
I co-manage 4 Good Health, a clinic in Nether Edge, Sheffield.
In my spare time I can be found hiking in mountains, running around lakes, chasing and trying to keep up with my young son and if lucky, sitting down to enjoy my favourite Callaloo and Ackee Caribbean meal!
